SUMMARY:
Dispatching and Receiving Clerks verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing goods in warehouse or distribution Centre’s and prepare goods for dispatch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Receiving / Dispatch Clerk - Northriding

CTC Range Basic R10 000 – R14 000.00

Pension Fund and Funeral Cover once permanently employed

Requirements:

Matric and speak English and Afrikaans fluently

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a receiving/dispatching position

Must reside within a 25km radius of North Riding

Computer Literate and use own initiative

Must be willing to work independently and be punctual

Self-Motivated, organized and responsible (stable work history)

Must be able to work independently and be punctual

Good organizational and administration skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dispatching and Receiving Clerks verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing goods in warehouse or distribution Centre’s and prepare goods for dispatch.

Receive stock and check expiry date, quality and quantity against the purchase order documents.

Checking of all returns from physical goods to delivery note to ensure all returned goods are in good condition and reporting any discrepancies and deviations to the Warehouse Manager.

Creating GRNs for all returned goods and ensuring these are signed off by the Warehouse Manager

Recording of all GRN’s on the register.

Timeous submission of GRN documents to the costing department to enable credit notes to be generated for the customer.

Managing receiving schedule

Attend to, investigate and resolve queries with relevant departments relating to discrepancies internal and external

Maintain good housekeeping

Load all same day trucks and clear factory floor of any excess stock

Ensure that vehicles are note overloaded

Stock on belts to be checked for weight and any discrepancies

Check quality of all stock dispatched i.e., no broken box’s, expired products and damaged stock

Check contents of all unsealed boxes

Ensure that vehicles are packed in an orderly manner.

Working Days / Hours :

Monday to Friday 07h00 to 16h00 / 08h00 to 17h00

Saturdays 07h00 to 12h00 / 08h00 to 13h00
