POSITION INFO:

Receiving Clerk - Paarden Eiland - R7000 - R8000 per month

Matriculated candidate with a minimum of 3 years'' experience in a warehousing environment. You will have the ability to 

Utilize the container receiving schedule to plan and organize the receiving requirement for the site

· Prepare the warehouse space for new shipments

· Ensure quality checks are done on the incoming containers

· Check all stock accurately

· Label all stock

· Manage all batches for stacking

· Identify damages, quantify and advise the Shipping Department

· Capture and prepare the packing slip for GRN

· Manage the return of empty containers

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

· Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.

· Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials.

· Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.

· Space utilization and inventory techniques.

· Health and safety regulations.

· Inventory methods and practices.

· Able to identify tiles samples and provide guidance

· Knowledge of tiles

· Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.

· Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.

ABILITY TO:

· Utilize space efficiently and effectively.

· Maintain inventory.

· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

· Operate warehouse vehicles, machines and equipment.

· Maintain accurate records of stock transactions.
