SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Purpose

Offloading of raw material loads.
Identify all raw material requirements as per daily plan
Fill raw material silo''s and micro bins

Key Responsibilities

Do daily cycle counts.
Request raw materials from raw material warehouse
Identify all material requirements, location and Kanban.
Fill raw material silo''s and micro bins.
Assist with wet waste operation.
Assist grinding operation.
Operate Forklift and Reach truck in a safe manner all the time.
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as manual cleaning equipment, high pressure washing machines, foaming units, vacuum machines, scales and computers.
Complete all records for the role, e,g FLT Inspection sheets, cycle count records etc.

Scope

This position is on a shift.
Receives raw material and fill bins.

Requirements

Matric / ABET LEVEL 4
Valid Forklift and Reach truck License
More than 5 years Training and experience in functional tasks (opt. knowledge of feed / food industry)
Must be willing to work irregular hours and extended shift if necessary
