POSITION INFO:

Randburg, Johannesburg: DEBT COUNSELLING CONSULTANT

Minimum Requirements:

-Well presented and professional

-Fully proficient in English a must (Afrikaans proficiency preferred)

-Minimum 1 year working experience in the following:

a) Debt Counselling (preferred); or

b) Legal Debt Collection / Debt Review at a law firm; or

c) Insurance Call Centre

-Experience in dealing with consumers and Credit Providers a must

-Good understanding of Debt Review process preferred, or fast learner

-Computer literate

-Clear criminal and credit records

-Strong people and communication skills

-Consumer focus and service orientated

-High levels of stress tolerance and resilience

-Stable employment record and contactable references

Duties:

-Debt Counselling call centre duties

-Telephonic interaction with clients regarding debt counselling

-Receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls to educate consumers as relevant on process and next steps

-Capture customer information on system

-Completion of relevant documents from Form 17.1 to Form 19, debt balances, COB’s etc.

-Handling Credit Provider and client queries

-Make outbound calls and/or send e-mails to consumers and Credit Providers to follow up on outstanding documents

Salary: ± R 7 000.00 – R 8 000.00 gross + commission (Negotiable depending on Debt Counselling experience)
