POSITION INFO:

A vacancy exist for a Renal Technologist.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic patient care and to collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Renal Technologist registered with the HPCSA
• Dialysis experience compulsory
• Current registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
• Computer proficiency
• Drivers licence and ability to travel to the various hospitals within the North Regio

Duties

• Assist the Hospital to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that activities carried out comply with HPSCA/SANC regulations, relevant legislation and policies and procedures.
• Maintaining and managing an environment in which excellent patient care is rendered
• High professional standards and a commitment to self development
• Good Communication skills
• The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• The ability to supervise subordinates and manage unit work load
