REMOTE React Native Developer

Fintech company based in Cape Town is seeking a React Native Developer.

Criteria
• 5+ years of experience
• Relevant IT qualification or experience if no formal qualification.
• Critical languages: JavaScript and React
• Experience with Git.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and principles.
• Experience with React Native, TypeScript, Java/Android, Swift/iOS, Firebase and Testing frameworks (TDD) will be advantageous.
• Full Stack Developer experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
• Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs as well as providing accurate estimates and time frames.
• Collaboration with design teams and product teams to ensure design and UX expectations are met and remain consistent.
• Writing clean, well designed, and efficient code using web development best practices.
• Creating various layouts and user interfaces (with reusability and adaptability in mind).
• Integration with various back-end web services and databases.
• Ensuring cross platform compatibility of all new features and interfaces.
• Creating and maintaining software documentation.
