REGISTERED NURSE - TRAUMA QUALIFIED (DURBAN)

Challenging position for a Registered Nurse - Trauma Qualified  -  report to the Unit Manager. 

Requirements

• Registered at SANC as a Registered Nurse
• Trauma Qualified with a minimum of 2 years working experience in an RN capacity, in a Trauma Unit.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organising skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to make accurate decisions
• Resilience and stress tolerance
• Strong customer orientation
• Willing to work day or night duty according to the unit needs.

Duties

• Conduct basic duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
• Ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction according to hospital Policies and Procedures
• Maintaining excellent patient and customer care in accordance with the hospital.
• Maintain sound professional relationships with all patients, doctors and other members of the multi- disciplinary team.
• Effective risk management of the unit by complying with Health, Safety and Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Effectively participate in the management of costs in the unit (stock, staffing, equipment)
• Identify training needs and initiate facilitation.
