SUMMARY:
REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGER

POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking suitably qualified and experienced REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGER for a large concern – position will be based in the Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

BCom Accounting Degree / BCompt Accounting Degree is a requirement.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Working experience on the GRIPS programme or similar.

5yrs+ previous experience in the rubber / tyre or related industry.

Strong working experience in business management principles.

Strong working experience of all related administration / financial systems, particularly GRIPS or a similar computer system.

Proven knowledge and experience in audit functions.

Responsible to ensure compliance with laid down policies and procedures, to report non-compliance thereof, and to initiate and monitor corrective action.

Assist in ensuring that branch management accounts are accurate and timeously distributed, assist with the preparation of the annual budgets.

Responsible for ensuring that the branch staff is adequately trained and competent to handle all transactions and administration function.

Assist with resolution of all branch-related queries as and when these arise.

Assist in working capital and asset management (debtors, stock, fixed assets).

Assist with Financial contribution and evaluation (expense and income control, financial input).

Ensure compliance of financial reporting within general SOX framework.

Conduct internal audits in branches and evaluate internal controls in terms of policies and procedures.

Extensive and regular travelling to the various branches will be required.

Person will be responsible to manage the financial and administration functions for all branches within the Gauteng region.
