REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN - PINETOWN

SUMMARY:
The main purpose of the job is the commissioning and servicing of
mechanical HVAC plant equipment.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Refrigeration and HVAC system practices in the Industrial Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Sector
• Inspection of electrical and hand tools
• Good housekeeping practices
• Fault finding and tracing mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Commissioning and servicing HVAC installations
• Operations of air-conditioning and chilled water systems
• Ability to read and understand Electrical wiring, schematics and P&I diagrams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 / Matric

• Trade Tested Refrigeration Technician

• N3 with subject’s air conditioning and refrigeration

 

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years field experience in Industrial Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration.

• Previous experience in Commissioning and servicing chilled water systems in the Industrial Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Sector will be advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Computer Literacy

• Experience in Electronic controls and BMS systems will be advantageous
