R&D Manager - Crop Protection

SUMMARY:

An established international manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals and fertilisers requires an experienced R&D Manager to coordinate field and laboratory research trials, with the aim to produce new biological crop protection products.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture
• Previous regulatory and product development experience is essential
• At least 5 years’ crop protection experience will be required
• Experience in developing biological products would be ideal

• Managing the research, development, registration, and production of new biological crop protection products.
• Preparing SOP’s and manufacturing protocols and ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained.
• Conducting and co-ordinating field and laboratory and field trials using the company''s products for registration.
• Developing trial protocols and managing registration trials nationally.
• Preparing and submitting dossiers to the registrar and managing the registration process.
