Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, You will be responsible for:

• Executing the daily maintenance plan of SAP PM
• Ensure maintenance scheduling is optimized, faults and repairs properly described and equipment history updated
• All mechanical equipment is maintained to meet the required OEE’s
• Identify causes of mechanical dysfunctional and repair using appropriate solution and/or resource
• Assist in the training of interns and learners
• Ensure safe work practices
• The execution of safe work and lockout procedures during mechanical fault finding, maintenance and repairs
• SAP PM Compliance
• Apply technical knowledge to support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Qualified Fitter with N3

Skills

• 3 years in maintenance and breakdown repair of mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of Aggregate and/or readymix plant and equipment technical specifications and maintenance requirements
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Good working knowledge of SHE procedures and relevant legislation
• Basic knowledge of electric motors and control circuits
• Good interpersonal skills to gain co-operation in achieving high maintenance and safety standards
