Our client is a precision engineering and equipment manufacturer.

Job Description

• Develop and map manufacturing processes and procedures from grass root level
• Undertake work measurement to determine accurate standard times and manning requirements throughout the plant
• Ensure that all standards and methods are accurately maintained and up to date
• Provide optimum plant layouts, material handling and ergonomic solutions to production
• Maintain and update capacity reports
• Machine and manpower analysis
• Manpower utilization analysis, capture machine uptime graphs, delays analysis and action plans
• Implementation of Lean principles (Kanban; JIT; Value Stream Mapping)
• Continuous Improvement Projects (Product and Processes)

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (Degree/Diploma/Trade Test)

Skills

• 5+ years experience in a heavy engineering manufacturing plant
• Experience in business process establishment and optimization
• Experience and knowledge of Mechanical/ Machining/Fabricaction/CNC Machines
