Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Manager, You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that efficient and effective maintenance and repairs of moulds are carried out for planned and
  unplanned work, within the recommended timelines
• Review and enforce correct procedures for mould services and strive for world class standards
• Manage Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), while ensuring quality work is executed in a safe manner
• Testing moulds on completion of every repair and ensuring job cards are closed correctly
• Manage stock and compile variance report, investigate where there are irregularities
• Budget set-up and management thereof
• Build and maintain working relations with engineering, quality and operations department
• Manage external contractors and conduct regular progress meetings
• People management and compliance to all policies and procedures
• Project planning and execution

Qualifications

• Toolmaker Trade Certificate

Skills

• Minimum 3 years'''' in a supervisory role in a toolroom environment within manufacturing industry
• At least 5 years’ experience in Blow and Injection Moulding process
• Experience CNC programming
• CMMS, i.e. JDE, SAP, etc. for managing moulds and toolroom machines services
• Strong technical problem solving skills including tools, machine services and repairs
• Analytical and has good attention to detail
• Basic hydraulics
• Sound understanding of the OHSACT
