Our client is a manufacturer of pumps, valves and control instrumentation for the mining industry.

Job Description

Reporting to the Production Manager, You will be responsible for Assembly of products as per set standards and procedures and leading the production department by example.

• Problem Solving & Training
• Quality, Health and Safety
• Capable of assembling and training Assembly Technicians in the following products:
  • Manual Pinch Valves
  • On/Off Pneumatic Pinch Valves
  • Control Valves
  • Electric Actuated Valves (Able to working with multiple manufacturers)
  • Hydraulic Valves
  • All Knife-gate Valves
  • Pumps

Qualifications

• NQF level 6
• Qualified Fitter and Turner

Skills

• Proven experience in assembly work, min 2-4 years.
• Able to read technical drawings, technical specifications, and bill of materials.
• Able to utilize all hand and powered tools (electric, pneumatic, & Hydraulic), safely and efficiently to complete their daily tasks.
• Computer literate and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Knowhow on different actuator technologies (hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanics)
• Overhead crane- and forklift licence.
• Drivers Licence and own reliable transport required.
• Clear criminal record.
