Production Manager (Machine Shop) – East Rand

Employer Description

Our client is a provider of machining and assembly, ductile and grey iron castings and hot steel forgings of various automotive components.

Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a staff complement of approximately 50 staff in the machine shop
  • Driving production output
  • Quality control
  • Performance management
Qualifications
  • Trade Test (preferable)
  • Matric
Skills
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a machine shop
  • Automotive components and machine experience.
  • Experience in cut metal.
