Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of single and three phase AC motors enclosures, DC motors, gear-motors, low and medium voltage motors, and variable-speed control solutions.

Job Description

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, You will be responsible for:

• Providing technical advice and knowledge to clients and staff on all electric motor, drives and gearboxes
• Manage staff and operational safety in the stores and workshop
• Assessment of electric Motors and stators.
• ISO Systems
• Managing of warehouse, workshop and dispatch
• Staff recruitment
• Providing technical support to customers
• Compiling Monthly reports to management
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control

 

Qualifications

 

• Qualified Armature Winder

 

Skills

 

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a foreman within a similar environment.
• Knowledge of AC Motors
• Ability to estimate time, cost, materials and scheduling requirements as necessary for completion of work.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings (Plans, elevations, sections, P&IDs, electrical schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams)
