SUMMARY:
Pump Technician – East Rand

POSITION INFO:

Our client is a mechanical components service provider.

Install, test, and commission pumps and related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, reconditioning and assembling/disassembling of pumps and related equipment.
Conduct inspections and tests to identify problems and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Troubleshoot pump problems, including identifying and replacing faulty parts.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and testing.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in pump maintenance, repair, and installation
Demonstrate the ability to rebuild pumps
Overall product and process knowledge and experience throughout Water and Oil Pump value stream (including disassembly)
Intermediate experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools
Valid Driver’s License
