Our client, a national construction company, specializing in medium to large scale residential and commercial projects, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced mid-level Quantity Surveyor, for their operation in the beautiful Winelands/Somerset West region.

Please note that this role is requiring CCS Candy at advanced level and you will have experience in the building sector, not civils or industrial construction surveying

• You will have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, coupled with 3-5 years experience in building projects, with the emphasis on high-end residential and commercial structures.
• Certification in CCS is essential and an assessment will be conducted.
• You will have proven experience in contract law, insurances, financial reporting (per site and project), SHEQ legislation and implementation, site staff management (including IR, if the need arises), as well as managing construction methods, measuring outputs, project programming and scheduling.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have supervised a small team of surveyors and junior staff
• You will be able to manage several projects simultaneously, have exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively communicate at all levels, lead by example and deliver results in a high pressure environment, meeting international standards
