QS opportunity in Stellenbosch region

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a contractor in the Stellenbosch region requires a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, applicants should hold a minimum of a National Diploma / Degree with at least 8 years’ experience on large building projects to include multi storey accommodation, commercial and luxury residential.

Duties / requirements

  • CCS full function
  • JBCC fluent
  • Manage all subcontractor appointments, monthly draws, queries, final accounts, etc
  • Variation orders
  • All contractual matters and correspondence
  • Cost reports and budgets.
  • Monthly valuation certificates
  • Final accounts
  • Liaise with professional team.
  • Attend site meetings
  • Supervise and mentor junior QS’s
