Quantity Surveyor - George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

A well-established Engineering company is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Requirements:

• Experience as a quantity surveyor
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying discipline
• Consultancy experience is preferred
• Good Communication
• Strong information technology background
• Electrical skills are preferred

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Feasibility planning
• Providing of procurement advice
• Handling of tender documentation
• Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
• Cost planning
• Coordination of work effort
• Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues
• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
