• Knowledge SABS ISO use of QC instruments, verification of drawings, knowledge of plastic and metal material properties

Training and awareness

• Promote quality awareness amongst staff.

Production staff appear to be concerned about quality of the products they make

Product and processes

• Ensure employees adhere to work instructions, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that quality inspectors collect data on the performance of products and processes and that action is taken on process deviations.
• Calibration of all testing equipment and weighing scales is carried out and recorded.
• Ensure that all outsource companies comply with Crabtree standards.

• Accurate reports on quality of all products made at Crabtree
• Root cause analysis on defects causing failures of products

New Products

• Work instructions are in place before commencement of production.
• Training records for all operators are in place.
• Drawings, BOMs,
