SUMMARY:
Durban North. Dynamic print company specialising in litho, flexible and digital packaging solutions seeks a Quality Manager with exceptional attention to detail. Matric and previous experience within the print industry is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Checking and signing off samples prior to manufacturing
Signing off certificate of compliance (COC) prior to dispatch of goods
Investigate all customer complaints and non-conformances
Participating in on site customer audits
Performing internal audits
Checking incoming printed goods for colour, size, folding etc.
Checking incoming raw materials against placed orders
Checking finished goods prior to dispatching
Responsible for colour samples
Signing off new jobs as well as old
Pulling out samples after inspection
Assisting machine operators
Signing off pulled sample on all machines
Liaising with suppliers regarding any complications with material supplied and delivery
Preparing and storing incoming materials
Filling in supplier / customer credit notes
