Quality Manager

SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity to join a company that uses cutting edge technologies for the Design and Manufacturing of Electronic products. The ideal candidate has experience in Designing and implementing Quality Management Systems in an Electronic product manufacturing environment and must be familiar with IEC standards.

POSITION INFO:

Working closely with design team, Production Manager and manufacturing

Working together with management to maintain product quality standards

Responsible for maintaining and operating a Quality Management system that complies with IEC 80079-34 and ISO 9001

Conducting checks to ensure that processes are being followed and remain relevant

Responsible for submitting monthly quality report

Maintain equipment calibration

Manage returns and customer complaints

Responsible for control of documented information

Schedule and conduct Periodic QMS activities

Responsible for 3^rd party audits

Continuous improvement

Skills & Experience:

Detail oriented and well organized

Proactive and take personal ownership of delivery

Must have a real drive for Electronic Product Quality, following procedures and improving processes

Electronic product development or Electronic manufacturing background is essential

Ability to operate independently

ISO 9001 exp essential

ISO/IEC 80079-34 Application

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in Electronic Manufacturing Environment implementing Quality Standards

Qualification:

BSc/BEng/BTech/NDip Quality or Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Must have completed the course introduction to ISO 9001 and its implementation

Valid drivers’ license and own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
