SUMMARY:
To provide support to the Quality Assurance Manager the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) in line with SA GMP guidelines, PIC/S guidelines and requirements and other standards where applicable

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Assist the QA Manager with the following

v QA Batch Release process

v Deviation, Change Control, NCR and CAPA Management

v Compiling and reviewing Quality documentation and SOP’s

v Management of customer and product queries and complaints

Support, maintain and manage the QMS system with respect to following:

v Technical agreements

v Quality risk management

v PQR’s

v self-inspection supplier audit reports

v SOPs.

v Conducting/assisting with internal self-inspection audits

v Participating in regulatory inspections.

v Observing and complying with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

v Trending and reporting

Minimum Qualification and Experience required

v Tertiary qualification in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality or any other scientific discipline

v Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements

v Proficiency in MS Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook,

v fluency in written and spoken English

v attention to detail

v Knowledge of QMS

v Ability to work independent (with minimal supervision) and as part of team

v Preferences: +3 years working experience in GMP manufacturing plant as part of the QA department

v Registration as Pharmacist Assistant (Basic or post basic) will be advantageous
