Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
Our client situated in Boksburg requires the services of a Quality Inspector on a Contract Basis.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements;
Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Mechatronics
At least 1 Year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to pick up items weighing approximately 45kgs

• Good Knowledge of different types of materials and various types of production planning.
• Excellent communication skills, Team player and Self-Motivated
• Aware of safety regulations when lifting heavy tools and parts.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering and design principles.
• Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• High skill in CNC machining methods and ability to produce precision components
• Basic CNC machining, Computer skills, Excellent in CAD like 2D, 3D & Assembly of SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and Autocad
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), C++, and Matlab programming.
• Well-developed analytical and numerical ability.
• Experience in tolerance analysis and manufacturing drawings.

• Assist with Management of the programs on the Coordinate measuring machine
• Automation and maintenance of the build history management system and Gauge store system.
• Improve the automation of the inspection system
• Automate and maintain other quality processes within the Boksburg site to improve efficiency.
• Ensure that the automated systems within the quality system are tested, documented, and backed up.
• Perform product and process evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Recommend solutions to identified problems.
• Implement approved changes using sound quality engineering principles and fully document requirements on a timely basis
