Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
Contract position for a Quality Inspector with a well established Company in Boksburg

POSITION INFO:

Our client in Boksburg requires the services of a qualified Quality Inspector on a Contract Basis

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Higher Qualification in; Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or  Mechatronics
• Quality related courses would be advantagous
• At least 1 (one) year experience in quality assurance and or quality processes
• Experience in auditing and statistical techniques
• Exposure and understanding of the ISO 9000 Quality Managent System preferable
• Good problem solving skills, customer liaison skills and interpersonal skills are essential
• A logical, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, well-spoken individual with thoroughness and tenacity
• Knowledge and ability to apply MS Office Software, especially Word and Excel packages are essential

Key Performance Areas;

• Management of build history
• Scrap and rework monitoring, reporting and reduction plan
• Initiation of corrective actions for non-conformities
• Monitor preventive and corrective actions
• Evaluate and interpret test results as part of a technical team
• Conduct internal audits
• Implementation of statistical quality control through the application of statistical methods
• Carry destructive testes e.g. tensile testing
• In-process verification of manufacturing activities
• Mechanical inspections
• Ability to carry 30 kg without assitance
