Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Artisan or similar with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic workshop knowledge, able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Use of quality measuring equipment is essential, implementation/auditing qualification will be advantageous as well as welding inspections.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Assist with checking raw material / parts from suppliers
• Ensure measuring tools are calibrated prior to performing quality checks
• Verify that material meets the specifications and tracking of material during supplier process
• Ensure that the quality system meets requirements
• Manage and measure machine capabilities
