Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
Electrical Manufacturer seeks a Quality Inspector to join their team in Lesotho

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• Matric
• A relevant qualification in Quality systems

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a production QC environment
• Experience in use of QC instruments, verification of drawings, experience in defects of plastic and metal materials
• MS Word, MS Excel, SAP experience essential

Duties

• Inspect goods, products from a production line working on a shift system
• Measure, record dimensions, colour and MFI of raw materials and products and perform tests with instruments
• Inform production and quality supervisors and setters of non-conforming products
• Identify and place non-conforming product on hold and isolate from conforming product
• Perform patrol inspections and check quality of product on a production line by applying work instructions and procedures
