Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
Our client in Bellville is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Steel and Sheet Metal manufacturing, with a strong background in ISO 9001:2000 environments. Key responsibilities include documentation control, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9000 quality system, and ensuring the quality of materials, components, and finished products. A qualified Artisan (Boilermaker, Welder, Fitter & Turner, or Toolmaker) is advantageous, along with certified Safety Officer/Representative qualifications. The role also requires experience in machine assembly and a proven commitment to quality standards. Computer literacy is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in an ISO 9001:2000 environment
• Documentation control expertise
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Steel and Sheet Metal manufacturing
• Qualified Artisan (advantageous) – Boilermaker, Welder, Fitter & Turner, Toolmaker
• Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000 quality system
• Certified Safety Officer/Representative with safety file maintenance experience
• Experience in assembly of machines
• Proof of a strong Quality background
• Computer literate
