SUMMARY:
Our client in Bellville is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Steel and Sheet Metal manufacturing, with a strong background in ISO 9001:2000 environments. Key responsibilities include documentation control, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9000 quality system, and ensuring the quality of materials, components, and finished products. A qualified Artisan (Boilermaker, Welder, Fitter & Turner, or Toolmaker) is advantageous, along with certified Safety Officer/Representative qualifications. The role also requires experience in machine assembly and a proven commitment to quality standards. Computer literacy is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in an ISO 9001:2000 environment
Documentation control expertise
Minimum 5 years of experience in Steel and Sheet Metal manufacturing
Qualified Artisan (advantageous) – Boilermaker, Welder, Fitter & Turner, Toolmaker
Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000 quality system
Certified Safety Officer/Representative with safety file maintenance experience
Experience in assembly of machines
Proof of a strong Quality background
Computer literate

DUTIES:

Ensure quality and standards are met in the factory
Implementation and maintenance of ISO9000- quality system
Safety Officer / Representative and safety file maintenance

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
