Quality Engineer

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Understand customer’s requirement on their Events and/or Milestones, cascade those requirements to internal and external suppliers to prepare their quality system or report to meet the requirements.
• Develop sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Lead Activity in the development and implementation of methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
• Lead Activity to analyze and to solve customer issue and develop corrective action at manufacturer.
• Should be pro-actively involved in identifying and leading the improvement process and promote its use within the manufacturer.
• Actively identify and promote continuous improvement and 5S activities.
• Development of quality systems and controls for internal manufacturing processes IATF 16949.
• Develops and improves supplier processes. 
• Acts as a customer representative and customer support contact.
• Manage and maintain certification of ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management system.
• Analyzes any customer complaints and develop report within given lead time.
• Root Cause analysis for Customer QPR’s as well as internal QPR’s 
• Training of Team members on continuously following SOP and Quality manuals.
• Work with production to consolidate monthly report to Head office
• Submit Monthly SDS to the customer and ensure suppliers submit SDS timeously monthly.
• Support Production department in meeting 16 Production requirements
• Training of team members where applicable.
