Quality Engineer

SUMMARY:
Processing customer complaints and complaint reports including return processing/ Q reporting

POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Processing customer complaints and complaint reports including return processing/ Q reporting;
• Coordination and release authorisation in the event of faulty products
• Decision on how to proceed in the event of quality deviations
• Initiation of pursuit of preventative measures
• Participation in the organisation and execution of audits (e.g. monitoring audits,customer  audits)

• Organisation and execution of warehouse and dispatch controls
• Participation in the planning and assessment of checks
• Provision of input for reporting/organizing and documentation of results and actions regarding the internal cubing according to the ENG plan;
• Technical support and advice for the self-inspectors/Ensuring GI Inspections of purchased foreign material/Ensuring the inspection of documentation;
• Hosting training seminars on quality-relevant topics
• Where applicable, undertaking measuring and inspection equipment monitoring

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified VDA 6.3 auditor and recognized Tertiary Qualification
• Minimum of 5 year‘s experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience in the Automotive Industry
• Excellent communication (written/spoken) skills at all levels
• Highly Computer Literate, Advanced Excel
