Quality Editor (Online) JB1982
Century City, Cape Town
Market Related

The Quality Editor is responsible for ensuring all online course deliverables produced by the Product Development unit meet the highest quality standards. The Quality Editor performs quality checks on all deliverables produced for online learning. This involves editing print and digital material across multiple platforms and working together with the product development team to ensure final deliverables maintain the highest quality to meet quality assurance standards and compliance.

Educational requirements for the job:
Grade 12 with a suitable tertiary qualification is advantageous
1-2 years’ experience in quality editing
Experience in the eLearning industry advantageous
Strong computer skills, including MS office 365, comfortable learning new systems/software
Experience with virtual learning platforms or LMS administration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of editing/QA

Duties and Responsibilities:
Copy Edit course content
QA all final deliverables for the course
Upload course content and activities on PDU LMS
QA completed modules on LMS
Establishing and maintaining style guides
