Suppliers to the building industry, retailers and hardware chains seek a Quality Controller (resins/composites).

Please only apply if you have Matric Maths & Science, ideally must be from roofing/building industry, ideally have an understanding resins/composites 

Minimum Qualifications and requirements:

Grade 12/Matric with Maths and Science

Good working knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures in the resins/composites industries.

Min 3years as a Quality Controller in resins/composites

Good written and oral commination skills

Excellent maths and computer literacy

Responsibilities:

Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining the functionality

Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements

Review blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods

Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database

Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence

Propose improvements to the production process

Monitor the use of equipment to ensure and discard any unsafe equipment

Upskill and do all training and education provides  

Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs

Reduce waste
