Quality Controller S5/Manufacturing

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Tertiary qualification in Quality or related is essential.
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in QC.
• Experience of 5S system is advantageous.
• Detailed knowledge of quality standards.
• General knowledge of ISO norms and the principles of HACCP.
• Capable of operating methodically, with precision and with continued adherence to criteria of order and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills and diplomacy in managing customer relationships.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and overseeing all safety and legal compliance.
• Guaranteeing the editing, management and archiving of all aspects of control documents (e.g. technical documents, specifications, reports and analyses of data relating to non-compliance).
• Preparing, overseeing and supporting client audits as well as executing internal product quality audits.
• Ensuring adequate internal knowledge of quality standards by providing training to staff.
• Provide prompt and effective quality assurance assistance/service to all internal departments.
• Sorting through materials, keeping only the essential items needed to complete tasks. 
• Ensuring that all items are organized and each item has a designated place. 
• Proactively putting in routine tasks to keep workplace areas clean and orderly to ensure purpose-driven work. 
• Creating a set of standards for both organization and processes.
• Sustaining new practices and conducting audits to maintain discipline.
