SUMMARY:
A leader within the Mining industry seeks to employ a Quality Controller / Inspector to join their successful team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification

Matric
Minimum N5 Mechanical Diploma (Boilermaking advantageous)
Welding qualification advantageous
QA Qualification ( ASQ CQE advantageous )

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
Excellent computer literacy
Administration experience in the quality environment
Production / manufacturing experience in the mechanical engineering and fabrication field
Have an understanding of assembly processes
Understanding of vibrating equipment
Minimum travelling required

Duties

Quality assurance and quality control
Develop and implement in-process controls
Inspecting of parts
Pre-delivery inspections
Liaise with 3rd parties
Inspect products against detailed engineering drawings
Technical support on products / processes
Implement and maintain QMS
Assist with audits
Non conformances
