SUMMARY:
A leader within the Mining industry seeks to employ a Quality Controller / Inspector to join their successful team
 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification
  • Matric
  • Minimum N5 Mechanical Diploma (Boilermaking advantageous)
  • Welding qualification advantageous
  • QA Qualification ( ASQ CQE advantageous )
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Administration experience in the quality environment
  • Production / manufacturing experience in the mechanical engineering and fabrication field
  • Have an understanding of assembly processes
  • Understanding of vibrating equipment
  • Minimum travelling required
Duties
  • Quality assurance and quality control
  • Develop and implement in-process controls
  • Inspecting of parts
  • Pre-delivery inspections
  • Liaise with 3rd parties
  • Inspect products against detailed engineering drawings
  • Technical support on products / processes
  • Implement and maintain QMS
  • Assist with audits
  • Non conformances
