Quality Controller

A well-established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is looking for a Quality Controller who will be responsible for monitoring the quality of all products being manufactured.

Salary is R15000 per month (cost to company), negotiable

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications.
• Interpret drawings, plans and specifications to understand the requirements of products.
• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Accepting or rejecting finished items and removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Resolve any quality related issues.
• Communicate results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
• Developing procedures and processes in line with standards and regulations.
• Implementing and updating quality management systems.
• Conducting quality audits.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years’ experience in an engineering environment essential
• Quality control and/or Engineering qualification
• Knowledge of quality standards
