JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is looking for a Quality Controller who will be responsible for monitoring the quality of all products being manufactured.

Salary is R15000 per month (cost to company), negotiable

Responsibilities

Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications.
Interpret drawings, plans and specifications to understand the requirements of products.
Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
Accepting or rejecting finished items and removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
Resolve any quality related issues.
Communicate results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
Developing procedures and processes in line with standards and regulations.
Implementing and updating quality management systems.
Conducting quality audits.

Qualifications

Min 3 years’ experience in an engineering environment essential
Quality control and/or Engineering qualification
Knowledge of quality standards
