Quality Assurance Technician - Centurion

POSITION INFO:

Skills and Qualifications:

ØBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields.

Ø3+ years of industry experience.

Ø1+ year of auditing experience.

ØHACCP accredited.

ØISO 22000.

ØLeadership or supervisor experience.

ØAbility to work with minimal supervision.

ØExperience enforcing SOP and product specifications.

ØProficiency with all MS Office Suite programs.

ØExpertise in Excel required.

ØStrong mathematics skills.

ØExcellent attention to detail.

ØSuperior communication skills.

Ø

Duties & Responsibilities:

ØLiaise with production departments to ensure projects are started, executed, and finished according to federal regulation.

ØManage point step process review, label and materials review, and QA approval of documentation control, line clearing, and process deviations.

ØEnsure all staff within the facility follow GMP requirements.

ØAbility to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe.

ØCreate manual test cases, test data, and test scripts based on project objectives.

ØPerform manual and automated testing, analysing, and recording related results.

ØReview end-user notes for accuracy of implemented operations descriptions.

ØDocument defects with conciseness, accuracy, and details to ensure defects are not reproduced.

ØProvide requested status and results throughout the facility.
