Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation | C# | CI/CD | High-Impact Systems)

SUMMARY:
This is not a “click test scripts and log bugs” QA role.
 
My client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who thinks like a developer, builds like an engineer, and takes pride in shipping high-quality software at scale. If you enjoy designing automation frameworks, working closely with developers, and influencing how quality is built into a product from day one, this role will feel like a step up.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Design, build, and maintain robust QA automation frameworks, test strategies, and test cases
• Develop and execute automated test suites (functional, integration, regression, API)
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC
• Perform manual and exploratory testing when required, especially for complex scenarios and edge cases 
• Identify, track, and manage defects — working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated testing runs seamlessly in build and deployment workflows
• Define and track quality metrics (coverage, defect density, automation levels, etc.)
• Review system designs and requirements from a quality perspective early in the lifecycle
• Mentor other QA engineers and contribute to improving QA standards and practices across the team

• Proven experience in QA / Test Engineering with strong exposure to automation
• Strong coding ability, comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and best practices
• Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to identify edge cases, think critically, and ensure software reliability
• Strong communication skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
