Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent

National Diploma/ Certificate or course in Chemistry/Polymer Science/Quality

Job Requirements:

2 years’ experience in a chemical/laboratory environment

Computer literacy: Ms Office, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team

Knowledge of testing and calibration

Your key responsibilities will be:

Ensuring products are produced in accordance with specifications

Carry out Quality testing and investigations (non-conformance)

Ensure control of materials and non-conforming products

Carry out all duties relating to customer service including COA’s , investigations and supply of samples

Maintenance and calibration of all testing devices and laboratory equipment

Ensuring that reporting is done as required by all stakeholders

Accurate and timeous reporting provided to all relevant stakeholders daily

Implement, uphold and maintain ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards

Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained and upheld at all times

Ensuring that all safety legislation and compliance is maintained and upheld at all times

Ensuring company policies and procedures are upheld and applied at all times

Performing any other adhoc duties that may be required from time to time
