Quality Administrator

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be required to assist the Quality Manager with the implementation of IATF 16949 Standards and administer the Quality Management system and maintain Quality documentation.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:

• Grade 12
• ISO Standard & IATF 16949 System Auditor experience
• Minimum 3 years in the Automotive Industry
• Minimum 3 years in the Quality Field
• Computer literate (MS Office, Excel and Word)
• Statistic knowledge

Key Performance Areas

• Assist the Quality Manager with the implementation of IATF 16949 Standards
• Associated Tasks Document Control
• Administer the document control, quality reports for the plant.
• Control all quality documents in respect of updates & distribution
• Conducting visual checks in the plant to review Quality Documentation, to check that the latest revisions are displayed
• Ensure that documents on the shop floor are controlled and issued correctly.
• Create process documentation such as work instruction, inspection plans, machine start-up check sheets & provide/issue to Quality Engineers for approval
• Update the control plans, flow charts & FMEA when necessary & submit to the Quality Engineer / Manager for approval.
• Assist the Quality Engineer with the monthly reports before final submission to head office (Trim).
• Compile Supplier Performance Reports
• Monitor and control Quality Control Inspection documentation
• Compile defect trends
• Prepare and update quality documentation
• Participate in the Audit process
• Adhere to Policies and Procedures
• Data capturing and assist with internal audit Schedule
• Control and follow up of non-Conforming reports
