SUMMARY:
Qualified Vehicle Technician - Johannesburg North - Gauteng

POSITION INFO:
A upmarket Motor Dealership in the Johannesburg North area is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their service team.

Requirements:

Trade Test
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience after Trade Test qualification (not negotiable)
Own transport & quality tools
Good diagnostic (mechanical and electrical) skills

Responsibilities:

Servicing & repairing of all vehicles booked into the dealership
Diagnose & report findings accurately
Maintain & update on diagnostic tools
Request relevant & correct parts from parts sales executive
Notify management of any service related issues
Checking in of customers & follow ups with clients
Update job cards, ensuring that it contains accurate information & detailed information on the service/repairs
Plan & order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
Ability to plan production
Maintaining good communication at head office & with customers
After Service Follow ups
