Qualified Electrician

SUMMARY:
A globally established engineering and manufacturing company based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to employ a qualified Electrician on a permanent basis.

POSITION INFO:

Skills and knowledge required:

• Extensive PLC & Drive experience (programming skills beneficial).
• Knowledge of various sensors (Inclino sensors, Read switches and encoders).
• Electrical experience in a plant environment.
• Panels and DB Boards.
• Automated machines.
• Drives and/or investors.
• Generator electrical systems.
• Control systems.
• Mains and/or reticulation.

Requirements:

• • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
  • N6 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Studies.
  • Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
  • 8 - 10 years’ post-trade working experience in a technical steel/manufacturing/plant environment.
  • Ability to perform your role independently.
  • Strong foundation of knowledge and skills within your trade.
  • Driver’s License with own reliable transport.
