SUMMARY:
Job Description:
Qualified Electrician who ensures efficient operation and proactive maintenance of factory equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fault-finding and equipment repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Handle basic building and infrastructure maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Support the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain repair and maintenance records.
• Assist with renovations and repairs.
• Manage spares and stock control.
• Keep the workshop organized and clean.

• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Fault-finding, PLCs, motors, and drive experience.
• Basic numeracy and administrative skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Proactive work ethic.
• Spares and stock management.
• Installation and commissioning experience.
• Grade 12/NQF Level 3/N2-N4 qualification.
• Qualified Millwright or Electrician.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (food & beverage or packaging).
• Computer literacy and good admin skills.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
