Qualified Diesel Technician, East London

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Qualified Diesel Technician for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• A Grade 12 Certificate with a MERSETA recognized Diesel Technician qualification
• A minimum of 3 years’ qualified experience as a Diesel Technician on trucks
• OEM/Dealer experience would be advantageous
• Valid Code-10 Drivers License (minimum requirement)
• Computer literate
• Electrical knowledge of trucks
• Experience in diagnostics and fault finding on trucks
• Willing to do standby on rotation basis
• Willing to work after hours and Saturdays when required
• Self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
• Punctual, presentable, honest and of sober habits
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Must be a team player
