A COMP IN INDUSTRIA IS LOOKING TO FILL THE TEAM WITH A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

POSITION INFO:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS.

• Grade 12
• Good command of English
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA)
• Must show initiative
• Completed Degree BCom Accounting Sciences and SAICA Articles 
• 1-2 years post qualification experience advantageous
• Ideally articles in a small to medium firm environment
• Strong technical expertise in Tax, and IFRS for SMEs
• Ideally wanting to register as an RCA with IRBA
  • Able to work under pressure
  • At least 1 years` experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work on his own
  • Proactive candidate

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

-        To improve, enforce and maintain Financial Processes and Procedures              

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

TASKS

-        Provide support to Financial Director

-        Management of accounts

DAILY

-        Continual updating of the bill of materials

-        Authorisation of payments.

-        Maintaining of customer price lists

-        Overseeing of the production process in Pastel

WEEKLY

-        Maintaining of Pastel in terms of users, passwords and reports and weekly procedures

MONTHLY

-        Maintaining fixed asset register

-        Preparation and processing monthly journals for Management accounts

-        Addressing stock variances as per monthly stock take and resolving thereof

-        VAT reconciliation and submission of VAT and PAYE returns

-        General Ledger Reconciliations

-        Monitoring of the work in progress
