SUMMARY:
Qualified Bookkeeper

POSITION INFO:

We are urgently looking to employe a hardworking Bookkeper to fulfill the following functions

Must have a good knowledge of accounting
Must be IT literate and have experience using excel and word
Experience in submission of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, etc.…)
Experience using Pastel Evolution or other accounting systems
Must be dedicated and willing to learn new work functions when required
Must be reliable and dependable

Minimum Education Level

Completion of matric and bookkeeping diploma (minimum requirement)

Scope of work

Assist with cash book function
Assist with debtors function (customer invoicing and follow up payments)
Assist with creditors function
Load supplier payments on banking system
Control and reconcile petty cash
Assist with job costings when required
Assist with retrieving filed documents for audit purposes
May be required to assist with stores admin (processing, checking work done,
Assisting with stock counts and any other admin functions as required).
May be required to assist with payroll function from time to time
May be required to perform reception duties from time to time
Will be required to file work neatly and understand the filing system
Will be required to assist financial manager with any other general accounting/admin
when required
