A well-established company that has been operating in George for more than 3 decades is in search of a Trade Tested Auto Electrician who specializes in electrical components for all makes of vehicles.

Requirements:

• Must be Trade Tested as an Auto Electrician
• Own vehicle and Valid Drivers License
• At least 3 years in a busy Automotive Workshop
• Experience with heating and air-conditioning navigation, dashboard, lighting, braking systems, engine management, electronic components, and starter motors.
• Testing and identifying faults identifying malfunctions
• Demanding and removing affected components and installing new ones
• Preparing faults.
• Must be physically fit with stamina, good eyesight and colour vision.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Grasp for electrical technology
• Work with extreme precision
• Have an understanding of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Installing electrical wiring
• Diagnosing electrical issues
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Repairing faulty wiring
• Troubleshooting computing devices
• Repairing GPS Systems, alarms, short technology headlights, air-conditioners, digital dashboard displays, electric seat heating systems, powerhouse, substation and relay electrical and electronic components.
