SUMMARY: A vacancy exists for a suitable candidate to join a Dynamic Company as a Qualified Assembly Fitter based in Nelspruit.
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate main duties will consist of:
- Assemble new machines as per assembly drawings
- Perform rebuilds, conversions and repairs on customer used machines
- Perform all test as per OEM specifications
- Faultfinding and repair of vehicles or machines (especially hydraulic systems)
- Faultfinding and repair of Power tools and equipment (especially electrical systems)
- Provide input for machine and design improvements
The successful candidate must have a relevant Trade Test qualification and have at least 7 years relevant experience on trackless mining vehicles or any related earthmoving equipment.
Must have good knowledge and experience of hydraulics, able to read and understand hydraulic schematics. Knowledge and experience on auto electrical systems and the ability to read and understand electrical schematics will receive preference.
Mining background or knowledge will be an advantage.
Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience and qualification, and will include normal company benefits.
