We are looking to employ an experienced and qualified Quality Manger who has significant experience in final product validation test methods, inspection instructions & quality audits. We are looking for someone with manufacturing industry exposure and experience – ideally steel product manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric with Mathematics & Science
• Relevant Quality Control Qualification/s
• Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering Qualification
• 5 Years’ Experience in Steel Manufacturing or similar Quality Control and Quality Management Systems
• 5 Years ‘Experience in Mechanical Testing & Measuring of Steel Products or Similar
• 5 Years’ Experience in Managing a Mechanical Testing Laboratory in Steel Manufacturing or similar
• Experience in Storage/Handling/Dispatch of Final Products beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work an organized manner with a focus on meeting customer quality expectations
• Ensure compliance with relevant product specifications & certification requirements
• Ensure effective handling of non-conforming products
• Effective investigation and closing out of customer complaints
• Raising NCA’s, following up and effective closing out
• Ensure effective and accurate testing & measuring in the laboratory
• Ensure calibration of testing and measuring equipment in laboratory
• Maintain RM Quality Management System
• Ensure Compliance & Certification through effective internal & external (SABS) audits
• Manage Final Product Quality Validation Processes Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
• Oversee Mechanical Testing Laboratory Functions
• Oversee Dispatch Functions
