SUMMARY:
QUALITY CONTROLLER - Food Science in the MEAT Industry
East Rand, Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Grade 12
* Preferred Requirement: Degree or Diploma in
food sciences
* Minimum 2 year proven food science experience as
a Quality Controller
* MUST have Microbiology, Sampling, shelf-life testing
knowledge
* Knowledge of export criteria
* ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 training
* Knowledge of Food safety system
* Knowledge of SAP program
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40kg, safely
* Perform inspections of product at random and specified
points to ensure conformity to specifications.
* Overseeing the distribution of cleaning chemicals and
detergents to cleaning
* Willing to work overtime, when needed
* Fluent in English & Afrikaans
